John Gabrielsen is the Wyopreps Director. He has won the Best Play by Play seven times, and Best Sports five times from the Wyoming Association of Broadcasters. He is a graduate of Wind River High School and the University of Wyoming. After being in Radio and being Sports Director at KTAK/KVOW the last ten years, he now teaches Radio Broadcasting at Central Wyoming College.

He is co-founder of Wyopreps along with Gillette sportscaster Vern Tystad. Together, the two hatched the idea of Wyopreps seven years ago.

John is married to Leslie and has two kids, Jaylyn (pictured) and Kade. He loves living in Wyoming and enjoys traveling to sports events, computers, and movies.
