Patrol reports REDDI program success

A state-wide program that started about 30 years ago as a way to keep drunk drivers off the road is working. The Wyoming Highway Patrol reported recently that its REDDI program resulted in the arrest of just under 750 people last year for drunk driving and about 18,000 since the program began in 1982.

Yellowstone wolf pack down to one

In news coming from Yellowstone, we’re hearing it’s most likely the end of the trail for one of the most studied, photographed and filmed wolf packs in the park. The Casper Star Tribune reports that the Druid Peak pack is down to one lone female who’s not expected to make it through the winter.

UW Ag college records high numbers

In news coming from the University of Wyoming, officials there report this week that enrollment in the school’s College of Agriculture and Natural Resources set a record this year of 926 students.
