Togwotee Trail work stops over weekend

July 2, 2009 - 02:18 p.m. EST

DUBOIS, Wyo. – Togwotee Trail workers are taking a break for the holiday weekend. The Oftedal Construction crew is taking three days off in celebration of the Fourth of July. That means there will be no construction on the Togwotee Trail north of Dubois from Friday through Sunday. But they’ll all be back on the job Monday, bright and early, by 7.

Night work will take place as scheduled for tonight. Three-hour traffic delays will be in effect from 10 tonight until 1 in the morning, and again from 1:30 to 4:30 tomorrow morning.

Daily information about work on the trail can be found online. That Web site is www.gotogwoteetrail.com. Construction details are also available by calling 877-WYO-TRAIL.
