Riverton and central Fremont County can expect 6 to 13 inches of new snow over the next 24 hours.

The foothills of Lander will see snow totals of 12 to 18 inches. Totals in Riverton by tomorrow morning are expected to be around 12 inches, and 7 inches south of the Owl Creek Mountains.

Wind gusts of up to 40 miles per hour and higher are expected with the storm. Winds from the north at up to 18 miles per hour can be expected within Riverton through Sunday morning.

The National Weather Service urges caution to hunters and travelers. If you have a weather radio, you're advised to keep it with you this weekend.

Much of the state is under a winter storm warning until 6 AM Sunday morning, meaning sever winter weather conditions are likely.

Snow is expected to remain fairly constant until noon tomorrow.
