Wyoming Prep football has six teams without a blemish on their record. Wind River fell from the ranks of the unbeatens after falling to #1 Big Horn 19 to 14. The Rams are one of three teams in 2A still with a zero behind the dash. Burns and Lusk remain undefeated. Burns is still 4-0 after their game with Saratoga was pushed back after the tragedy of a Panther teammate.
Cokeville is unbeaten in 1A while Kemmerer and Glenrock both head to Week 6 at 5-0.
Rankings this week didn't change much. The same teams are still on top. Sheridan, Buffalo, Kemmerer, Big Horn and Cokeville all keep the #1 positions.
5A has Sheridan on top with 20 of the 23 top votes. Green River picked up the other three and ranks second. Gillette is now third with Natrona falling to fourth at 0-2 in the North 5A. East is #5 once again. Rock Springs and Evanston received votes at 2-3 on the season.
4A has Buffalo with 21 of the 23 top votes. Cody got the other two and ranks second. The Broncs will take on #1 Sheridan this Friday at Spike Vannoy Field in Cody. Powell, Douglas, and Lander round out the top five like they did last week.
3A sees Kemmerer still #1 and pretty decidedly. The Rangers pulled 17 of the 19 top votes. Glenrock got 17 of the 19 #2 votes. Moorcroft remains third followed by Lovell then Pinedale. Wright and Newcastle received votes.
2A keeps Big Horn #1 with 18 top votes. Burns got the other two and rank second. Lusk keeps a hold of three with Wind River staying fourth. Greybull is the new #5 this week after knocking off Rocky Mountain. Lingle and Riverside each got votes this week.
1A has Cokeville with 16 of the 19 top ballots. Southeast is next with 2 and Burlington got a #1 vote this week and is third once again. Hulett and Guernsey flip flop places with the Red Devils fourth and the Vikings fifth. Shoshoni, Wyoming Indian, and Upton also recieved votes in the poll.
