A Casper woman was injured Monday night in a four-wheeler crash on Highway 28, 30 miles southeast of Lander. Christine Benson, 22, was transported to the Lander Regional Hospital with a minor concussion, said Sgt. Jerry Evagelatos of the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office.
Benson was a passenger on the four-wheeler driven by Patrick Latray, 21, of Lander, when Latray’s vehicle flipped after hitting a rock. Both riders were thrown off the four-wheelr, said Evagelatos. He said alcohol was not involved and no citations were issued.
The incident occurred at about 8 p.m. in the Dry Lake, Limestone Mountain area on what is commonly known as South Pass Highway.
