CWC at College National Finals Rodeo
CWC Rodeo

The College National Finals Rodeo got started last night in Casper. After the broncs, bulls and breakaway performance, the Rustler men are tied for first in the nation with Panola Junior College. The East Texas Baptist University and the home town Rustlers each have 80 points. CWC sent both their men’s and women’s teams to compete after the men won the region and the women were second. Wyoming is the defending women’s champions and they currently sit ninth, but, it was after just one event.

Central Region All Around champion Seth Glause has picked up right where he left off. The Rock Springs cowboy rode to an 87.5 in the bulls to take a 9 point lead in the first go. Ty Hamaker sits thirteenth after scoring a 62.5.

Glause also went for a 72 on his saddle bronc and is 13th in that. He should be in good position for the All Around as they get scores tabulated as more events go on. Blaze Hamaker is 12th in the saddle bronc. Glause currently sits 11th in the World NFR standings in the bull riding with just over $30,000 dollars made.

Joe Mundorf is just outside the top 20 in the bareback while Jessica Pichetti split 18th in the breakaway.

Slack begins this morning with more performances through the week at the College National Finals Rodeo in Casper.
